Rules of the annual draw

Monthly Prizes

A monthly prize, valued up to US$1960 for Firefly guests, is offered for all our guests to try for.* We will use your check-in registration card number and each month at a Firefly beach party another guest will draw one number from the registration card numbers of the previous 12 months. You will remain in the draw for a year, giving twelve winning opportunities. There will be an additional entry  if you visit us again as a paid guest during this period. The monthly prize is a week's accommodation at Firefly (or Secrets or Carib for their guests) for the same number of persons as represented by the registration card in the same category of room. The first name on the winning registration card will be the winner; other persons on the same card may be included as guests of the winner. Prizewinners will be shown on our prizewinners page.

*A single stay of over 3 nights is required to be eligible to be entered in the draw. Meals, transport and watersports are not included in any prize. Also eligible to win the prizes will be guests of Secrets Cabins and Carib Beach Apts. Secrets guests are invited to Firefly’s weekly beach parties, usually held on Tuesdays from sunset.

WINNERS will be notified only by notice on the website www.jamaicalink.com or by our newsletter, and prizes must be acknowledged within six weeks of publication. Prizes are to be taken from May to mid-December. Prizes may be transferred to friends. Interpretation of these rules is the prerogative of Firefly.

A yearly prize, valued up to US$1960 for Firefly guests, will be offered to a guest whose registration card is drawn during April each year. A single stay of over 3 days during any period from 1st January 2001 to the 31st December of last year is required to qualify.  Each stay of more than 3 days earns a separate entry.

The first part of the draw will select the year (i.e. 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006 etc,) and then a registration card number from that year will be drawn by a guest.   If the 'winner' has won a monthly draw prize in the twelve months before the actual date of the annual prize draw, that person shall be disqualified and the draw will be repeated, using registration card numbers from the same calendar year as that of the disqualified 'winner'.

The prize is a week's accommodation and the other rules follow the rules of the monthly draw.
